The City of Jacksonville is requesting quotes for the installation of duct work from existing HVAC unit with work to be completed by June 28, 2019. We will begin accepting quotes on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10 am. The last day quotes will be accepted is May 27, 2019 at 10 am. Scope of work:
- Installation of approximately 40 feet of round metal duct work consisting of supply vents and return air grill from existing HVAC unit to interior of building.
- Contractor is required to provide design, material, permits and installation according to the existing mechanical code.
- Contractor shall provide conduit for thermostat wiring.
- Metal duct work shall be wrapped with approved duct insulation.
- HVAC unit, thermostat, thermostat wiring, and high voltage wiring to the unit will be done by the City of Jacksonville personnel.
- Contractor will be responsible to install duct work to the existing unit and provide concrete pad for unit placement.
- Site visit recommended.
- Must have Workers’ Compensation NC Statutory Limits and $1,000,000 General Liability with $2,000,000 General Aggregate naming the City as Additional Insured and the Insurer must be licensed in North Carolina.
- Quote must include materials, labor, delivery and taxes.
