Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is seeking proposals for the removal and disassembly of a 177-foot radio tower, located on city property at the southern end of Court Street in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for lowering the tower, disassembling it into its sections and storing at a designated location on the site. Guy cables will be coiled and stored at the same site. The concrete block building at the tower base, the building slab, and the concrete cable anchors will be removed and disposed of in a proper manner.

Inspection of the tower may be arranged by contacting Michael B. Ellzey at 938-5328 or Lynn Thomas at 358-1024.

It is requested that all proposals be submitted by September 20, 2002 to Michael B. Ellzey, City Engineer, P.O. Box 128, Jacksonville, North Carolina 48541. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
