The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for a Dewatering Facility to be constructed at the City’s Public Services Complex located at 350 South Marine Blvd., Jacksonville, NC.
Description of Work: The work comprises construction of a concrete sewage dewatering facility. The facility consists of a concrete structure with approximate dimensions of 13’ 4” (width) and 48’ 8” (length), pump station with pump capacity of approximately 50 gallons per minute, and approximately 400 feet of 2-inch PVC force main.
Copies of the bid documents and plans may be obtained from the Public Services Office located at 804 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540.
All bids are to be returned to the Public Services Office by 5:00 pm (local time) on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Bids may be delivered to the address noted above or mailed to: City of Jacksonville, Attn: Frank Sanders, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541.
No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of sixty (60) days pending the execution of a Contract by the successful Bidder. Should the successful Bidder default and not execute a Contract, then the Contract would be offered to the next lowest and responsible Bidder.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the Bid which is in the City's best interest.
