Description: Installation five (5) check valve by-pass assemblies
BID DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP IN THE PUBLIC SERVICES OFFICE LOCATED IN THE CITY HALL ANNEX AT 804 NEW BRIDGE STREET AT 12:00 PM ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2005.
All bids are to be returned to Wynne Ray by 10:00 AM on October 3, 2005. All bids should be clearly marked in the following manner “CITY OF JACKSONVILLE WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - CHECK VALVE BY-PASS, Bid # FY 06-16744.” Bids can be mailed to: City of Jacksonville, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541 or they may be delivered to City Hall, 211 Johnson Blvd., Jacksonville, NC, ATTENTION: WYNNE RAY.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Wynne Ray, Public Services, 211 Johnson Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville.
