Summary of Specifications:
I. Introduction Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, materials, equipment and labor for the painting of various interior walls at City Hall, 804 New Bridge St, exterior of a Parks Maintenance Building, 2268 sq. ft., 35 West Railroad St, and exterior of a 12,000 gallon above ground gas storage tank, 350 South Marine Boulevard. All work shall be completed within 60 days of Notice To Proceed. See the attached Exhibit A for a complete list of locations.
II. Proposals Due Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. on April 10, 2015. Proposals should be mailed to Allen Baker, Facilities Maintenance Service Manager, P. O. Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541. Bids received after this date and time will be considered non responsive.
III. Rights The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all proposals, and to accept that proposal or proposals which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
IV. Site Visits Site visit is highly recommended. Site visits can be scheduled up until 4:00 p.m. on April 7, 2015 by calling Facilities Maintenance Services at (910)-938-5328.
