ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Clearing of Utility Easements in JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, consisting of:
Description: Services to include clearing and removing debris from easements to allow access to the City’s wastewater collection system. The work of clearing shall consist of the cutting, removal, and satisfactory disposal of all vegetation and debris. The following areas will be cleared: 1. Sandy Run Outfall Main, approximate dimensions: 5,111 linear feet x 30-feet wide and
2. 36 inch Force Main, Brinson Creek/Allison Hatchell Road to Blue Creek School Road, approximate dimension: 11,112 linear feet x 30-feet wide,
All bids are to be submitted by 2 P.M. on January 27, 2006. Bids may be mailed to: City of Jacksonville, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541 or 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and/or drawings may be examined and/or obtained at the City of Jacksonville’s Public Services Department temporarily located across from City Hall at 804 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
