The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Bush Hogging of Utility Easements in JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, consisting of:
Description:BID # 06-17460
Services to include Bush hogging of utility easements to allow access to the City’s wastewater collection system. The bush hog work shall consist of the cutting of all vegetation located within the following areas:
1. Gum Branch Road to Hawkside Road, approximate dimensions: 3,268 linear feet x 20-feet wide, approximately 1.5 acres and
2. Hawkside Road to Moosehaven Road, approximate dimension: 2,049 linear feet x 20-feet wide, approximately .94 acres.
Total estimated acreage to be bush hogged is 2.44 acres of easement or, in alternate terms, 1.0 mile of 20-foot easement.

The Bid Documents may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Public Services, 804 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
All bids are to be returned to Public Services Department by 2 P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2006. Bids may be delivered to the address noted above or mailed to: City of Jacksonville, Attn: Kevin Wright, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
