Summary of Specifications:
3" hydrant meter with internal check valve and fittings. Weight should range between 14 and 20 lbs.Shall be equipped with a 2-1/2" bronze gate valve installed on the outlet side between meter case/outlet coupling.Shall have bronze national standard fire hose coupling thread, Should be designed for use with potable water below 120 degrees F. Light weight Aluminum case. Replaceable and lockable steel handle, register should be permanently sealed and be direct reading register, secured with tamperproof screw. Specs to meet or exceed the AWWWA C701 Standards. Must be equipped with a stainless steel or plastic strainer installed in the inlet coupling to protect meter from debris without causing cavitation. Meter shall be guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from ship date. Meter should be ready to install upon reciept, NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED, shipping availabitity - need to be able to us immediately.
