030-25 - Personal Care Aide Services (PCS-II)

The Wayne County Department of Aging and Youth (hereinafter “WCDAY”) is seeking in home service agencies to provide Personal Care Services (PCS-II) to Wayne County residents assessed and deemed eligible by WCDAY Staff.  These residents will be 60 years of age or older and be functionally impaired, as shown by a need for the assistance of another person, in at least one activity of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, being continent of urine and/or feces, transferring, walking and eating) OR two instrumental activities of daily living (housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, managing money, laundry, using transportation, telephoning and taking medication).  The goal of these services is to make it possible for these frail or disabled seniors to be able to live independently at home as long as possible
