The Washington County Department of Public Works (DPW) is planning a countywide Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for early May 2023. Only one event is planned for 2023. Washington County intends to contract with a fully approved and licensed hazardous waste management contractor for the collection, transportation, and legal disposal of household hazardous wastes generated at this one-day event. The event will be conducted at a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation approved location at Washington County Municipal Center, 383 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY.
