RFP - 53-05 Mail Service - WC 53-05 Mail Sorting and Postage Services

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of these specifications to obtain mail pick-up and sorting and metered postage services for All outgoing mail at the Warren County Municipal Center on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. Letter mail shall have no size restrictions. Bidder shall include size lists and pricing information with bid. UPS package mail will be handled by Warren County, however, bidders may include any UPS services which may be provided to Warren County with bid proposal. Current preferred pick-up for mail is between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m. Proposed pick-up times for outgoing mail shall be stated in Proposal with final determination to be negotiated with Warren County. Possible delivery of mail to Contractor by Warren County Courier will also be considered with Proposal pricing both ways. Warren County holidays shall be excluded from pick-up schedule. List of holiday dates will be provided for current year upon award of contract. Successive holiday list shall be provided in December for following calendar year. Contractor shall prepare the entire applicable mail delivery received from Warren County for automated sorting. Contractor shall, on the same day as pick-ups, sort said letters and apply postage (including any discount postage wherever applicable), and deposit to a United States Post Office the same day as pick-up.
