Independent Auditing Services - Independent Auditing Services to the Town of Walworth

The Town is seeking services from a Public Accounting Firm that will conduct an annual audit of the financial accounts and records of the Town in accordance with specifications outlined herein. The successful firm shall also be responsible for performing certain limited procedures involving supplementary information required by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board as mandated by Generally Accepted Auditing Standards. Over the course of the audit engagement period, the successful firm shall make qualified staff members available to the Town for general consultation regarding financial accounting and reporting issues, as well as providing data on applicable updated accounting requirements, including assistance in preparing notes to financial statements (including GASB disclosures).
