ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor and material necessary for the Town of
Rotterdam Town Hall Building Renovations project will be received by the Town of Rotterdam
Town Clerk at 1100 Sunrise Boulevard, Rotterdam, New York 12306 until 11:00 A.M. local
time on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and
read aloud.
Bids will be received for the following Contracts:
Contract No. 1 – General Construction: The work shall include providing all
labor, materials and equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental
for the removal and replacement of the EPDM roof and insulation, exterior doors,
storefronts, windows and awnings, repair and resurfacing of the exterior foundation,
removal of brick veneer and EIFS facades with installation of fiber cement paneling
systems, and interior improvements to the Board Room and adjacent open office spaces,
as shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Contract No. 2 – Mechanical Construction: The work shall include providing all
labor, materials and equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental
for the removal of condensing units located on the roof, removal and replacement of a
roof top unit, relocating refrigerant piping for an indoor split system unit, and relocating
roof drain piping, as shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Contract No. 3 – Electrical Construction: The work shall include providing all
labor, materials and equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental
for the removal of disconnect switches for condensing units located on the roof, removal
and replacement of the fire alarm system throughout the building, light fixtures and
controls within the Board Room and adjacent open office space, and a disconnect switch
for a roof top unit replacement, as shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
