The Rotterdam, New York Police Department (Police Department) is seeking comprehensive managed services to support its IT infrastructure. The primary objective of the RFP is to secure a vendor to provide 24/7 hardware and software support and maintenance, as well as monitoring and help desk services. The winning vendor will need to coordinate with existing service providers as well as hardware and application vendors, helping to provide a seamless experience for the end users.
In addition, the winning vendor will be required to assist the Police Department with strategic planning, keeping systems current and operational in the most cost-effective manner possible. With that in mind, they will work with members of the Police Department to identify special initiatives outside the scope of daily maintenance. These initiatives will be treated as separate projects with their own scopes and deliverables.
The overall goal of this RFP is to procure long-term, comprehensive, reliable, timely, proactive IT management and support that will promote the mission of the Rotterdam Police Department.
