Notice is hereby given, beginning Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2:00pm, sealed bids are sought and invited by the Town of Marlborough for “Town of Marlborough Community/Rec Center Phase 2: Alterations”, Contract ID#: TM-022022, as set forth in the drawings and specifications prepared by the Town of Marlborough’s Engineering Consultant, Bell Engineering, PLLC.

This project consists of alterations/full renovations to the Town of Marlborough Community/Rec Center at 1520 Route 9W, Milton, NY 12547. This project is subject to General Municipal Law, 101-WICKS LAW. Prime bids are sought for: General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).

Attendance at a pre-bid walk through on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00am is strongly encouraged. Potential bidders are asked to gather at the site, 1520 Route 9W, Milton, NY 12547, at which time they will be escorted through the areas of work. NOTICE: Bids from Contractors not in attendance at this meeting, or who failed to sign the attendance sheet, may not be considered. As per the contract, a thorough visual inspection of the work area is required in order to be deemed a “Responsible Bidder”. Bid Documents shall be received by the Town Clerk, located at 21 Milton Turnpike, Suite 200, Milton, NY 12547. Bids must be received no later than 2:00pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022, after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Town Hall Meeting Chambers and shall also be viewable via ZOOM (Meeting ID: 839 7036 4792 Passcode: 336343).
NOTICE: It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that Bids are received in time, no late Bids will be received, regardless of reason.

Bids must be made utilizing the stated proposal forms, in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications and must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: Marlborough Town Clerk, clearly marked on the outside: “Re-Bid for Town of Marlborough Community/Rec Center Phase 2: Alterations” and designating the trade.

This Bid may be subject to Apprenticeship training requirements in accordance with Town of Marlborough Code § 38-2. See the Instruction to Bidders for further details regarding all requirements of this Bid.

This Bid is not subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
