Request for Qualifications
Sidewalk Improvement Project
The Town of Hillsdale plans to apply for a 2026 TAP grant to incorporate pedestrian sidewalks, with associated road and drainage improvements, along Anthony Street, Cold Water Street, a portion of Maple Street, and a portion of White Hill Lane.
The Town of Hillsdale is soliciting qualifications from qualified firms for assistance with the preparation and submission of a Department of Transportation (DOT) Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) Grant Application, for pedestrian sidewalks, with associated road and drainage improvements.
The Statement of Qualifications must be organized in sections containing the following information:
Cover Letter. Provide a brief (1-2 page) cover letter that summarizes your company’s experience, key people involved and their general role, the primary point of contact for the project, a brief approach and understanding of the project.
Brief Description of Firm. Describe your firm's legal structure, areas of expertise, length of time in business, number of employees, and other information that would help to characterize the firm. Provide the address of the main office (for legal purposes) and the address of the office that will manage the project.
Experience. Briefly describe other projects executed by your firm that demonstrate relevant experience within the past five (5) years; however, extensive descriptions of vaguely related projects are discouraged. Project sheets should be limited to one page and include references. Experience must include grant writing.
Personnel. Provide a professional resume for the key people proposed to be assigned to the project with any relevant experience.

Due Date: December 10, 2025 at NOON
RFQ’s will be opened by the Town Clerk on December 10 at 1:00 PM and will be reviewed by the selection committee and at the December 16th monthly Town Board meeting.

Responses to all questions will be emailed in writing within 3 business days. Both the question and response will be shared with the other applicants.
