The Town of New Castle is requesting sealed proposals from qualified consultants interested in providing professional engineering services to the Town for the replacement of an existing culvert that was damaged by Huricane Ida. The requested professional services will include the development and preparation of complete Culvert Replacement Plans, Hydraulic and Hydrological Reports, Geotechnical Investigation and Report, Engineering Estimates, FEMA Support, Construction Drawings, Technical Specifications, and Construction Management Services, including the preparation of record drawings.

As stated in page 1 of the RFP, the proposal must be received by the Town Clerk’s Office of the Town of New Castle by no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and shall be entitled “Proposal for Byram Lake Road Culvert Replacement Project”. Please submit four (4) physical copies of the proposal. In addition, proposals shall be submitted electronically to bids@mynewcastle.org. Electronic submissions must be received by the Town Clerk no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and must be entitled “Proposal for the Byram Lake Road Culvert Replacement Project”. The project title, and the name of the professional consultant shall also be included in the email subject line.
