The Tompkins County Human Resources Office is requesting proposals for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to assist County employees and their immediate family and household members.
The County is dedicated to providing a full complement of benefits to its employees. Employee assistance programs help employees, their immediate family, and household members sort out the difficulties that may be causing them trouble in the workplace. It also provides access to professional counseling to help them resolve their problems. This type of short-term services shall include, but not limited to, assessment counseling and when appropriate, referral for marital/family relations, emotional difficulties, and problems caused by alcohol and/or other substance abuse. The result is a healthier, more productive employee with improved relations at home and at work.
