NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That proposals to Upgrade and Enhance the Audio-Visual (Av) Capabilities of The Suffolk County Water Authority Boardroom, will be received by the Suffolk County Water Authority no later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time on May 7, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on April 9, 2025. The conference will be held at Suffolk County Water Authority’s Board Room located at 4060 Sunrise Highway in Oakdale, NY. Any firm wishing to have a bid considered by SCWA must send a representative to the conference.

Failure by a firm or its representatives to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will disqualify the firm’s bid from consideration for an award. The Authority may excuse a firm’s attendance at the pre-bid conference upon a showing of an extraordinary circumstance that prevented the firm or any of its representatives from attending the conference.

As of December 30, 2024, contractors and subcontractors performing "public work" must be registered with the Department of Labor before they start working on a SCWA project. A Certificate of Registration must be submitted with your bid.
