NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That proposals for
Restoration of Asphalt & Concrete on State, County, Town, and Village Highways for the period
March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027, will be received by the Suffolk County Water Authority
no later than 11:00AM, prevailing time on December 22, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login to the following websites
www.scwa.com; or
www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
Apprenticeship Agreement: The Suffolk County Water Authority requires, pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 816-b, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under this Contract, that are registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor pursuant to the requirements of New York Labor Law Article 23.
Evidence of such agreements for both contractors and subcontractors, if any, must be submitted with the bid.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.
