NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for Landscape and Lawn Maintenance at Various Properties of the Suffolk County Water Authority, situated in Suffolk County, New York, during the period beginning April 1, 2016 to December 15, 2016 (With Option to Extend), will be received by the Purchasing Director of said Authority at 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769, not later than 11:00 a.m. prevailing time, on January 29, 2016, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites www.scwa.com; or www.empirestatebidsystem.com.
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
Prior to bid submission it will be the responsibility of the contractors to independently visit the sites they intend to bid and familiarize themselves with existing conditions. However, there will be a mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for January 20, 2016, at 10:00 AM at 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale NY. The pre-bid conference will be held at the Facilities Department of the SCWA. Please call 631-563-0322 to arrange attendance. Failure to attend the mandatory bidder’s conference will be deemed sufficient cause for rejection of proposal.
