8021 - Demo and Replace Roof at 180 5th Avenue, Bay Shore

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN:  That proposals  for  Demo and Replace Roof at 180 5th Avenue, By Shore, NY for Contract No. 8021, will be received by the Purchasing Manager of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, no later than 11:00AM, January 31, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.

Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites  www.scwa.com or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.

Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting and walk through accompanied by an Authority representative is scheduled for January 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at 180 5th Avenue, Bay Shore. Each prospective bidder must attend the meeting and walk through if they intend to bid. Please call 631-292-6032 and arrange to attend. Any firm wishing to have a bid considered by SCWA must send a representative to the conference.

Failure by a firm or its representatives to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will disqualify the firm’s bid from consideration for an award. The Authority may excuse a firm’s attendance at the pre-bid conference upon a showing of an extraordinary circumstance that prevented the firm or any of its representatives from attending the conference.

Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
