7996 - Construction of a 20"x10" - Diameter Well (No. 1A) North Country Well Field

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN:  That sealed proposals for the - Construction of A 20” X 10”- Diameter Well (No. 1A) Approximately 800 Feet Deep, to Be Located at The North Country  Well Field, Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven, NY, will be received by the Purchasing Manager of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time on September 13, 2023, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted  electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login into the following websites www.scwa.com; or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
An optional pre-bid meeting and walk through will take place at the site on September 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.  The site is located at 322 North Country Road, Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven, NY.  It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
