Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Westchester (the “County”), acting by and through its Department of Information Technology (“DoIT”), is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and companies to develop and implement a technology platform that will achieve the following objectives: •Implement an easy to use, mobile-friendly portal that will allow users the ability to browse for services and commodities; •Create a shopping experience similar to the most popular commercial sites; •Ability to easily manage contracts that exist with local governments, school districts, and other municipal entities that operate within Westchester County; •Integrate multiple commercial off the shelf (COTS) software products that are highly configurable and scalable to meet the needs of a large number of potential clients and purposes as the system expands and grows.
