Training will be developed by the vendor using any combination of teaching methodologies deemed appropriate by the vendor, some or all of the training should be in-person to provide face to face instruction and hands on troubleshooting and training modules. The County anticipates that work will involve the following tasks: • Pre-training development meeting/needs analysis with dedicated GIS staff to determine the departments that would benefit from training, their current capabilities and needs, platforms for GIS training and the most efficient way to train as many departments as possible at one time. • Determination of the best ESRI platform for training based on workforce needs (e.g. Field Maps, ArcGIS online or ArcGIS Pro) • Development of training modules using County-specific data to the benefit of the County workforce, incorporating the results of the pre-training development meeting/needs analysis. • Review of modules by County dedicated GIS staff and department heads to ensure that GIS needs are addressed. • Conducting in person GIS training at a Wyoming County facility. Other potential items, depending on cost may be requested and a cost should be included in the Proposal: • Providing a pre-training assessment or exercise for employees, to ensure they are dedicated to the training and thinking about the benefit of quality GIS data to their workflow and their department prior to in-person training. • Specialized training modules for field staff on how the County can improve data collection through Survey 123. • Specialized training for GIS dedicated staff on python/script writing, Experience Builder and/or Story Maps. The County will be responsible for all software and user licenses, and providing laptops on training days, depending on the number of staff being trained, Wyoming County may ask the vendor to provide assistance in acquiring temporary or training licenses if Wyoming County does not currently have enough licenses for the proposed training.
