Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The installation of an AC unit shall include but not be limited to the following: i. A Bottom-Mounted AC unit that is installed at the window sill (bottom of the window frame); and ii. A Top-Mounted AC unit that is installed at the window head (the main horizontal part forming the top of the window frame), upper sash, or suspended above the window sill. B. The servicing of an AC unit shall include but not be limited to the following: i. Onsite adjustments, repairs and replacements that may include but not be limited to filter replacement and software updates; and ii. Offsite adjustments, repairs and replacements that may include but not be limited to interior part replacement and steam cleaning. C. The maintenance of AC units shall include but not be limited to the following: i. Preparing the AC unit for Heating Season, as specified in the Detailed Work Procedures; and ii. Preparing the AC unit for Cooling Season, as specified in the Detailed Work Procedures. D. The Contractor shall record AC unit information as required under NYC Local Law 87 to monitor energy consumption and efficiencies, such as the model/serial numbers, BTU and the EER on all requests.
