The work consists of asphalt milling and paving and the installation of drainage improvements along Church Street in the Village of Buchanan. Other related work shall include adjusting and repairing drainage structures and sanitary manhole structures, adjusting utility frames and covers to grade, as well as preparing, restoring, and cleaning the project area all in accordance with the plans and specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Additional work has been added to the bid as alternates. If alternates are chosen the work may include the installation of concrete curbs and/or the installation of concrete sidewalks and ramps. The work shall be coordinated and phased to minimize disturbance to the church and daycare at Church and Henry Streets. These organizations are closed during the month of August.
