The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Renovate North Hall for Mechatronics and UPD Surge project at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi. The Project will include a comparative Life Cycle Cost Analysis of building a new facility versus renovating the existing structure. The selected option, new or renovation, will then require complete design and construction related services for the decided effort. Either option will support the program and space needs for the Mechatronics program within the established GSF of North Hall. New construction efforts, should it be selected, will include complete site development and construction of a net zero facility on the campus as well as the complete demolition and removal of the existing structure and surrounding site amenities. Renovation efforts, should it be selected, will include replacement of the roof, windows, doors, interior finishes, MEP upgrades, fire protection, and hazardous material abatement and site improvements. An enabling project to relocate the University Police Department (UPD) from North Hall to Thurston Hall is required for both options. The enabling project will require a partial interior renovation of Thurston Hall. Renovation efforts will include replacement of windows, doors, interior finishes, MEP upgrades, fire protection, and hazardous material abatement and site improvements. A new elevator and stairwell are required. The construction value is estimated at approximately $26,275,000.
