Specifications include, but are not limited to: The procedure for removing and disposing of chlorinated effluent shall be substantially as follows:Upon previous day's notification from the Authority, drive waste removal vehicle(s) to the work site at the designated time. With the assistance and under the supervision of Authority personnel, fill tanker truck(s) with the specified quantity of wastewater from one or more Authority hydrants using hoses and fittings supplied by the Authority.In order to prevent spillage of the wastewater during the filling of the tankera minimum 8” diameteradaptermust be provided at the fill nozzle of the tank. This adapter shall have a tapered ring design to create a funnel for smooth flow of the wastewater.A proper sized air gap must be maintained at all times between the fill pipe or hoses and the liquid effluent in the tank truck.Upon filling tanker truck(s), dispose of effluent water in a legal and proper manner, and provide documentation of this to Authority personnel.
