1. Concept A. The intent is to build the facility in the area where the buses are currently parked. However, Ontario County has adjacent property available for site development. The initial phase will be to evaluate building in the current location or at one of two adjacent locations. B. Vendor shall also evaluate the existing bus wash to determine if a new bus wash will be included in the new building or if repairs to the existing bus wash are the preferred alternative. C. Once the preferred location and bus wash preference are identified, RGRTA’s Director of Engineering or designee will notify the Vendor that the site studies can begin. 2. Site Studies A. Full topographic Survey B. Boundary and Subdivision mapping C. Geotechnical Design Report D. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment E. Phase II Environmental Site Assessment, if needed F. Ground Penetrating Survey and Utility Clearance. G. Fire Hydrant Flow Test H. Utility Connections including solar I. Sanitary Sewer Evaluation J. Stormwater Sewer Evaluation 3. Prepare Design Documents A. Vendor shall prepare conceptual, 30%, 50%, 75%, 95% and 100% design plans, specifications and cost estimates for the RTS Ontario bus facility (all on the same plan set). B. Vendor shall not proceed past the 30% Design until receiving written authorization from the Director of Engineering and Facilities Management. C. When the plans and specifications have reached 95%, they are to be submitted to the NYSOGS for review.
