Specifications include, but are not limited to: NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking up to 5 cabling vendors to provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to structured cabling services and rack/cabinet solutions in order to establish a network connection between devices and LAN/WAN Systems throughout the enterprise. Services and materials required for capital and/or expense projects include: • End User Device Cabling • Single wire device cabling • Wireless Cabling • Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) wiring • Main Distribution Frame (IDF) wiring • Data Center wiring The work expected to be covered by those awarded contracts through this RFP process could range in size from less than 10 individual cable runs to large office and clinical areas across multiple floors that typically are a part of multi-million dollar projects. The exact scope and timing would be covered through the subsequent mini-bid process and be subject to the vendors ability to meet the timeline for the request. There is no guarantee of a % of work to be awarded to each vendor.
