Specifications include, but are not limited to: Steuben County (‘County’) is requesting proposals for one (1) Internet Service Provider (ISPs) for facilities located at 5632 Turnpike Rd, Bath, NY 14810. • The County is seeking a tiered pricing schedule for no less than a dedicated 50mbps up to 500mbps for an internet connection at the stated location with a single public static Internet Protocol (IP) address. Pricing shall include monthly recurring costs and one time installation costs. • Internet service is to be available twenty-four (24) hours per day, every day per year. • Providers shall have network engineering support twenty-four (24) hours per day, every day per year. • Providers shall have network monitoring capability and provide notification to designated County staff in the event of any interruption or disruption of service. • Providers shall guarantee quality of service – including minimum uptime of 99% per month, with resolution of any problems or outages within one (1) hour or earlier. County shall receive a reduction of fees relating to the down time if and when any such interruption in service exceeds the above 1% threshold. • County intends to enter into a contract with one (1) selected vendor for a period of five (5) years with the option of two (2) one (1) year extensions contingent on availability of County funding and solely at the County’s discretion. • Providers shall provide a list of escalation procedures to ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues. • Final contract will allow the County to increase bandwidth with selected vendor, based on the tiered pricing schedule provided in their proposal, for the duration of the final contract.
