Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Consultant will perform an in-depth inspection of the deteriorated bridge elements as more fully detailed in SR pages. B. The Consultant will prepare an Initial Project Proposal (IPP) /Final Design Report (FDR) in accordance with NYSDOT Project Development Manual (PDM) based on the latest NYSDOT biennial inspection report and field inspection of each bridge. C. NYCDOT will review and provide comments to the Consultant on the IPP/FDR. The Consultant will incorporate all the comments. D. The Consultant will prepare and submit the Advance Detail Plans (ADP) to NYCDOT for review. The submission of plans for review will be made at the 40% ADP and 90% ADP. The Consultant will perform a visual inspection of each bridge no more than 30 days before 90% ADP submission to confirm the existing condition of the bridge with respect to the scope of work and to determine if there is any further deterioration of bridge elements that should be considered in the design or whether to eliminate any items from the scope of work of any bridge element repaired as part of bridge maintenance work. The Consultant shall submit 90% design drawings for all stake holders involved in the project according to the directions received from NYCDOT and implement the comments in the Final Plans submission. E. The Consultant will prepare and submit the Final Plans and Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E), as more fully detailed in the GR and SR pages. F. The Consultant will be required to perform field investigative studies such as traffic study, utility survey, soil investigation, hydraulic analysis, environmental study, tree survey, deck coring, steel sampling, etc., if necessary. All required studies should be done prior to 90% submission. G. The Consultant will coordinate with all potential affected governmental agencies and obtain their approvals before Final Plans submission. H. The Consultant will obtain traffic stipulations from the Office of Construction Mitigation Coordination (“OCMC”) and finalize Work Zone Traffic control plans for the construction period. I. The Consultant will deliver Final Plans and Final Contract Documents, as more fully detailed in the GR and SR pages. J. The Consultant will perform bid analysis and submit bid analysis report to NYCDOT, as more fully detailed in the GR and SR pages. K. The Consultant will perform Construction Support Services, as more fully detailed in the GR and SR pages.
