Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful bidder shall remove from any and all structures including, deck(s), porch(s) and chimney(s). Removal of the structures is to include all interior furnishings, rubbish, garbage, appliances, fixtures, plumbing, heating systems, wiring, etc. (1) For buildings with basements the bidder shall remove the existing foundation to a point 2-feet below the existing grade, filling the basement area with clean fill (fill type requires approval from the County) to meet the existing grade, placing 4-inches of topsoil, final grading to blend into the existing grade, seeding. (2) For buildings with crawl spaces the bidder shall remove the existing foundation to a point 2-feet below the existing grade, either filling the crawl space area with clean fill (fill type requires approval from the County) or removing excess material in the crawl space area to meet the existing grade, placing 4-inches of topsoil, final grading to blend into the existing grade, seeding. (3) For buildings with slab on grade and perimeter foundations the bidder shall remove the existing foundation to a point 2-feet below the existing grade, completely remove the slab on grade, filling the disturbed footprint with clean fill (fill type requires approval from the County) to meet the existing grade, placing 4-inches of topsoil, final grading to blend into the existing grade, seeding. a. Exception for the Barn Structure at 6010 Toad Hollow Road: For this structure the perimeter and slab on grade shall remain. Any projection from the slab shall be cut off flush with the slab. Any openings in the floor large than 3” shall be filled with clean sand or crushed material passing a No. 4 sieve. The oil pit area in the floor slab shall be filled with clean fill up to 4-inches of the slab surface and then shall be capped even with the slab with flowable fill with a minimum strength of 250 psi.
