A. NFTA is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction monitoring services and design support related to NFTA’s need to replace its existing land mobile radio communications system with an upgraded Associated of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) P25 800 MHz radio system and inter-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for enhanced mission-critical communication capabilities. The qualified firm may not have an affiliate relationship with the system vendor. B. Services include project management, design reviews, special inspection, routine inspection, material testing, contract document interpretation, progress schedule review, technical submittal review, maintenance of project records, progress payment review, progress reporting, change order, system startup and commissioning, as built documentation and project closeout. The selected firm shall provide all staff, expertise, technical and administrative labor, tools, equipment, materials, licenses, supplies, and services required to perform the work requirements.
