Description

PURPOSE
The Rochester City School District (hereinafter “RCSD” of “District”) is seeking Proposals for consultant services to plan and implement a school program redesign across 15 secondary schools throughout the district to include at least one specialized area of programming, freshman academies and one or two career and technical education (CTE) pathways to augment the comprehensive secondary programming currently offered at each school.

Redesign is a strategy that:

Imagines new school experiences
Is responsive to our changing world
Is grounded in equity and centers unique school communities’ needs, interests and assets
Provides a strategic runway for engagement, design and planning

Through the process of secondary school redesign, the RCSD aims to transform learning experiences, rethink how we address inequities and how we prepare young people for success, not just in school, but in life. The secondary school redesign project will ensure that all students have access to diverse secondary school programming that facilitates the development of a broad range of 21st century skills in order to prepare them for the complex demands of our society.

If awarded, the selection may result in multiple awards of a one-year contract with an option to renew for up to four (4) additional one-year periods.
