Description

Chemung County is seeking bids for replacement bristles for the Elmira Corning Regional
Airport runway brooms. The broom bristles consist of a combination of poly and wire wafers
with spacers. Bids must meet or exceed the specifications herein.
b. Technical specifications (1.02.B) are based upon a generic type and quality of new, unused
replacement broom bristles. The specifications are not intended to exclude any product,
manufacturer, or vendor, but to describe the minimum quality and operational functions
required. Products which meet or exceed the minimum specifications and provide equivalent
functions will be considered.
c. It is the intent of Chemung County to award the bid to the responsible bidder submitting the
lowest responsive Total Gross Sum Bid.
