NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:  That sealed proposals for the repainting and repair work of granular activated carbon (GAC) systems at various Authority-owned properties  will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY  11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on March 6, 2020 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY  11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.  You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.empirestatebidsystem.com and request "More Info" on Contract No. 7679.
A Suffolk County Water Authority Engineer will meet the prospective Bidders at 10:00 a.m., February 19, 2020 for a pre-bid meeting starting at the Wheeler Road site, and then continuing on to three other SCWA properties.  The Wheeler Road site is located on the N/E corner of the intersections of Wheeler Road & Veterans Memorial Highway (825 Wheeler Road), Hauppauge, NY.  It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
