RFP 24-04 - RFP 24-04 - Financial Aid Operational Review and Consulting Services

Monroe Community College (“MCC” or “College”) is accepting proposals for Financial Aid Consulting Services. Our goal is to identify and implement best practices for the lifecycle of student financial aid services and identify strategies to increase access to financial aid and scholarships for a community of diverse learners.

MCC is seeking a comprehensive evaluation of financial aid operations to help ensure compliance at every level, reduce compliance risks, and maximize performance and efficiency. Areas we have identified as priorities include a compliance and operational review, which would include assistance in updating our policies and procedures manual; a review of our current financial aid technology, processes, and utilization; review and recommendations for updating a financial aid communication plan; identifying and implementing training for staff. An assessment of staff workload is desired to insure we have appropriate staffing for the size of our institution.
