Natural Resource Inventory - Natural Resource Inventory

The Town of New Castle updated its Comprehensive Plan (CP) in 2017 and is currently updating the Parks and Recreation Master Plan (PRMP).  A number of the goals and actions identified in the CP demonstrate a purpose and need to compile a Natural Resource Inventory (NRI) which is a comprehensive database of information with respect to natural resources.  In furtherance of this information, a component of PRMP has identified open space conservation and potential property expansion to specifically increase the size and promotion of using natural areas as opposed to recreational equipment, construction, field development etc. as a priority issue.
