These specifications describe two (2) Clark forklift trucks. One Model C70D rated at 15,500-pound capacity and one Model C40D rated at 8,000-pound capacity Forklift trucks offered under this specification shall be designed and engineered from the ground up as standard forklift trucks and known within the materials-handling field as such for materials-handling operations. A modified wheel tractor with forklift attachment is not acceptable. Units shall be rated as equipped. Units furnished to these specifications shall meet or exceed the specifications.
