Directional drill installation of approximately 940 linear feet of 8-inch DR11 HDPE and 5,100 linear feet of 12-inch DR11 HDPE water main. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the installation of the water main and associated fittings, hydrant and valve installation, air release valve vault, water service replacement, connections to the existing water system, and the hydrostatic testing and disinfection of the water main. Abandonment-in-place of approximately 5,500 linear feet of existing water main piping and the removal of existing hydrants, valves, air release valve structure, and services along the decommissioned water main. Rock removal and asphalt removal to facilitate installation of the proposed water main and appurtenances. Site restoration including topsoil, asphalt pavement, and driveway repairs. Work zone traffic control.
