2019-115 - Actuarial Services for Self-Insured Workers' Compensation

Preparation of actuarial report that includes estimation of necessary reserve funds for the county’s self-insured workers’ compensation program, contemplating a “low,” “expected,” and “high,” estimate.  The estimate of necessary reserves is to include a provision for both known claims and claims that have been incurred but not reported (IBNR), appropriately developing (increasing) each into applicable dollar amounts to reflect ultimate incurred losses.
