PROJECT ESTIMATE: $2,800,000.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY: This project consists of performing preventive maintenance on Dewey Avenue from Eastman Avenue to North City Line, Lake Avenue from Pattonwood Drive to Beach Avenue, and Beach Avenue from West City LIne to Lake Avenue in the City of Rochester. These streets will be milled and overlaid with a new hot mix asphalt top course. Pavement repairs will be performed in various locations throughout each street.
The project will do spot curb replacemetns, concrete sidewalks replacement and driveway apron replacements in various locations. Topsoil and seeding will be placed to restore areas impacted by construction . Drainage improvements include catch basin frame and grate adjustments and new catch basins and lateral connections in various locations throughout the project. Sewer improvements include manhole frame and over adjustments or replacements throughout the project. Traffic signal improvements will include indutance loop detector replacements as required. Water improvements include adjusting or replacing the top section of existing water main valve boxes as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
This is a Locally Administered Federal Aid Project and contains Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Utilization Goals.
This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents

Sealed Bids are to be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 105-A, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded.
