ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND (ACC) – WATERVLIET ARSENAL (WVA)
Requirements: Contractor to Repair and Rebuild Swage Cylinder on Machine # WV12520 to restore this equipment back to
operational per the Statement of Work which is attached and incorporated for the Watervliet Arsenal, NY.
Proposes to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price contract (IAW SOW) for the following item as follows:
SCOPE OF WORK for W16H1F521700KF / PR-93951343
WV12520 - Fairfield Swage Cylinder Rebuild
1. Coordinate with Watervliet arsenal for the shipment of the Fairfield swage cylinder assembly to contractor facility.
2. Disassemble/Evaluate cylinder assembly.
3. Inspect all parts for dimensional tolerances.
4. Recondition Rod, Strip/polish/Re-chrome.
5. Polish cylinder tube (bore).
6. Clean/Deburr all parts
7. Replace with all new Seals/Bearing Elements
8. Install new hardware
9. Re-assemble complete cylinder
10. Test cylinder to standard bench test procedures. (QAP-10 Sec.3.0)
11. Sandblast & Paint Grey
12. Package for shipment
13. Coordinate with Watervliet for return shipment of refurbished swage cylinder.
14. Warranty terms: 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after date of delivery, whichever comes earlier.
