Water Sampling Services: Provide staff that can perform on-site water sampling services, upon a bid participant’s request, that are in accordance with the latest and most current NYS Regulation Subpart 67-4. It is the intent of the participants to collect one (1) 250 milliliter sample from each outlet selected for sampling and provide all necessary documentation (ie. chain of custody, sampling inventory/locations, etc.) Training: Conduct one (1) (maximum 3 hour) water sampling training sessions at Madison-Oneida BOCES for BOCES and participating school districts. This training should include a review of the sampling and testing guidelines. This also includes, but is not limited to, pre-sampling procedures (system preparations), sampling procedures for RFP participants wishing to utilize internal staff to collect samples, how to collect a sample, how samples should be preserved, and how to complete the necessary paperwork (ex: chain of custody forms, labels, etc.). Testing: Provide the supplies and resources to coordinate the testing of all collected samples for evidence of lead. (See Section B, Requirements, below for more details). It is the intent of the participants to collect one (1) sample from each outlet selected for sampling.
