Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of General Services, Division of Food Distribution and Warehousing through this solicitation, seeks a vendor to provide Warehousing Services in Region-D for the counties of: Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Schuyler, Tioga, and Tompkins. The warehouse would receive USDA Federally donated food commodities for storage in frozen, chilled, and dry environments for approximately 90 schools and recipient agencies. The freezer temperature shall be maintained at '0' degrees Fahrenheit or below, while the cooler temperature shall be maintained at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Quantities and varieties of food can change without notice. If quantities of food rise beyond current estimates, the facility will be expected to handle all foods allocated to it.
