The wire consists of seven (7) strands of copper covered with a 0.15" layer of flexible, black, thermoplastic elastomer. Resistant to UV degradation, 75 °C conductor, 25 °C ambient and 2 ft. /sec wind as per latest NEC and ANSI standards. UTEM 2: the purchase of 2,000 feet of 3/c 4/0 AWG, 600 V triplex aluminum cable. The cable consists of two (2) insulated conductors, rated 600 volts with 19-stranded wires, 60 mils of high density XLP polyethylene insulation and one (1) 6/1 stranded bare ACSR neutral messenger. Thsi cable shall comply with the ASTM B-232 (Aluminum conductors, concentric- lay-stranded, coated steel reinforced-ACSR) specifications and all applicable requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-76-474. NOTES: The successful bidder shall guarantee that these Cables will be free from any defect/fault and replace the cable for a period of no less than 3 years from the date of delivery. All the items, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 shall be delivered on 1000-foot reels. Reels made of plywood will not be acceptable. Items 3, 7, 11, shall be delivered on 500/600-foot spools as specified, and in an upright position. All material must include a minimum of a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery. The reels must be positioned on the delivery truck for easy and timely offloading by RVC Storekeeper.
