Specifications include, but are not limited to:The contractor will provide one (1) Nutrition Health Educator. 1. The Nutrition Health Educator will develop and implement educational services regarding WIC and WIC’s services to community based physicians: OB practices, Pediatric practices and Family Medicine practices. These services will enhance and increase WIC outreach to community providers, while facilitating enrollment of new clients from these community providers. 2. The Nutrition Health Educator will provide ongoing education to community providers and clients regarding prevention of childhood obesity, FIT WIC, etc. 3. The Nutrition Health Educator will develop and implement educational materials for distribution to community based organizations as appropriate.
