Specifications include, but are not limited to: (a) Bidders shall acquaint themselves with conditions to be found at the site and shall assume all responsibility for placing and installing the equipment in the required locations. (b) Where the Invitation For Bids involves performance of services on City facilities, all bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves as to all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of performance of the Contract. In no event will a failure to inspect a site constitute grounds for withdrawal of a bid after opening or for a claim after award of the Contract. (c) All materials used in the installation shall be of good quality and shall be free from any and all defects which would mar the appearance of the equipment or render it structurally unsound. (d) The Seller shall protect the site from damage for all its work and shall repair damages or injury of any kind caused by the Seller, its employees, officers or agents. (e) Work shall be performed so as to cause the least inconvenience to the City, and its Agencies and with proper consideration for the rights of other contractors or workers. The Seller shall promptly perform its work and shall coordinate its activities with those of other contractors. (f) Installation shall include the furnishing of any equipment, rigging and materials required to install or replace the contract item in the proper location. If any alteration, dismantling or excavation, or the like is required to effect installation, the Seller shall thereafter promptly restore the structure or site to its original condition. (g) Materials, equipment or supplies shall be stored at the site only with the approval of the using Agency and at the Seller's sole risk. In general, such on-site storage should be avoided to prevent possible damage to or loss of the material. (h) The Seller shall clean up and remove all debris and rubbish from its work as required or directed. Upon completion of the work the premises shall be left in a neat unobstructed condition, the buildings broom clean, and everything in satisfactory repair and order.
